The Nissan Power Pup was designed for Nissan Titan and Armada owners looking for more power and better fuel economy. The Nissan Power Pup offers the user two different engine settings above stock to accomodate various driving conditions. Regular Tune (use with regular fuel) and Premium Tune (use with high-octane fuel.) It also gives the user a bundle of other great features designed to enrich the product experience and improve fuel economy even more.
Stock: Choosing the Stock engine tune will result in no change to engine horsepower output. All other downloader features can still be accessed if the Stock engine tune is chosen.
Regular: This engine tune is recommended for use with 85 or 87 octane gasoline. This tune can be used for everyday driving and towing. Dynamometer testing results have shown a 10-12hp increase in rear wheel horsepower.
Premium: This engine tune is recommended for use with 91 or 93 octane gasoline. This tune can be used for everyday driving, towing, and racing. Dynamometer testing results have shown up to 23.5 peak horsepower and 49 peak ft-lbs torque increase, on the premium tune, to the rear wheels.
Power Pup Downloader Features:
WOT (Wide Open Throttle)Many of the two and four wheel drive Nissans have a governor which restricts the vehicle from utilizing 100% of the throttle until the vehicle 40mph. Power pup offers the ability to disable or enable the Wide Open Throttle governor. This feature is only recommended for race designated vehicles and should only be used on a sanctioned drag race or off road track.
Rev LimiterThe stock OEM rev limiter determines the peak RPM range for the vehicle. This feature allows the user the ability to raise that limit to 6300rpm. This feature can also be used to lower the rev limiter below factory settings to encourage safer driving and improved fuel economy.
Speed Limiter The stock OEM speed limiter will limit the vehicle top speed that is determined by the OEM. The Power Pup speed limiter function allows the user to adjust the vehicles top speed from 60mph to 140mph in increments of 5mph. The vehicle speed limiter feature can be adjusted upward for racing purposes, but can also be reduced to help keep vehicles moving at a more responsible pace which will reduce fuel consumption.
Diagnostic Trouble CodesThe Power Pup can read and erase diagnostic trouble codes. Codes should be checked periodically and whenever a warning light appears on the vehicle dash.

Adjust Engine TimingWith the Nissan Power Pup, Bully Dog allows the end user to adjust engine timing +/- 2%.

Adjust Engine IdleUse this feature to adjust the engine idle rpm. From the factory setting the Power Pup can adjust the idle upward by 250 rpms. This can be especially helpful when starting, and warming up, the vehicle in cold weather.
