California Originals chip and dip set, circa 1950's. A classic mid century modern set done in the fabulous blue of the 50's. Rimmed in gold the 2 dishes are also speckled with gold. Raised leaf veins make it all the more attractive. The larger dish has a flat chip on the back of the rim, as seen in the photos, about 1/4 inch x 1/4 inch x 1/16th deep. Difficult to see from looking on top. The metal support for the dip dish is free of rust or corrosion. There are no other noted cracks, chips or flea bites. No crazing or wearing of the gild. The large tray measures abot 12 1/2 inches x 13 1/12 inches x 2 1/2inches tall. Bottom is marked as California Orig USA 719. The smaller dish measures about 6 inches x 6 1/2 inches x 1 3/4 inches tall. The bottom is marked as USA 727. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
