Up for sale is gorgeous Wm. Guerin Limoges France creamer. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or fleabites. Judging from the green mark and quality of painting, it would appear that it is most likely American hand painted. This creamer is adorned with what appears to be peach blossoms in in soft pink colors with yellow and brown centers on stems and leaves of light tannish brown. The rim of the creamer only shows portions of where it was gold trimmed. Gold trim around the base appears intact. The bow knotted handle is also finished in gold but does have some wearing - you can almost tell where someone held it in their hand. It measures about 3 5/8" in diameter, is 2 7/8" tall at the lip, 3 1/8" tall at the handle and measures about 4 1/2" across the handle to spout. It holds 6 oz. It appears that it was a well loved piece and has been well cared for considering it was made somewhere between 1900 to 1932. The bottom bears the green ink stamp Limoges, W.G. & Co., France. Under the glaze there appears to be a 6 impressed in the porcelain - see photo as well as two other letters/numbers that we can't make out. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
