this perfume or snuff bottle could be worn on a chain around your neck or attached to the pocket. from birmingham england, with the following markings: "sterling, 30, an anchor G, F". from my research, this appears to be from 1881. i may be wrong. i have cleaned it a lil as the pics show, but leaving it up to the new owner to take care of it. the first pic reflects a lil bit i have already cleaned
