“A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words”
I will gladly send more pictures to your email. Sometimes, cost, time & lack of picture space prevents me from including more pics in the listing. So just ask and I will send them to you in a very timely fashion.
“Talk to Me”
Since I am a stay-at-home mom of 6, I am usually home all day every day so I am able to respond to any questions or requests almost immediately. (My laptop is attached to my hip.) In the evenings or on the weekends is when I do my “buying”, so at that time, it may be a couple of hours until I get back to you.
“Congratulations, you just bought this item”
I will acknowledge all purchases and payments. An email will be sent to you by me thanking you for your purchase and/or payment, telling you when your item will ship out, and how (priority, parcel, first class) it will go. If you do not get an email from me, it means that your server will not accept an email from my address OR your email is invalid (believe it or not, in the pase, some email addresses that I have gotten from Paypal have been old/outdated addresses). I purchase Delivery Confirmation for EVERY US shipment. This number can, at times, also be used as a tracking number, depending if the Post Office scans it when they receive it
Auction-Style Listings
If this is an auction-style listing, then payment OR communication about payment MUST be made within 48 hours or you will run the risk of losing your item. I will gladly ‘wait’ for a payment as long as that is communicated to me. If after 7 days I have not rec’d your payment, I will report the item to ebay as “non-paying bidder”. They allow you 7 more days to make the payment, but it will be too late. The item will no longer be yours and all payments will be refunded if made in that 7 day period. At that time you will receive a “non-paying bidder” strike which will hinder your ability to bid on my items and other seller’s items.
“24/6”
I ship within 24 hours of rec’d cleared payment. Sometimes, if you pay early in the morning, your item will even go out that afternoon. I ship every day of the week (except Sundays). There is no waiting for a certain shipping day OR waiting for whenever I feel like shipping it. As a buyer, I want my purchases sent immediately so that is why I stick to my 24/6 policy. YOUR PURCHASE IS WELCOMED, APPRECIATED & IMPORTANT TO ME. If you have an unconfirmed address with Paypal, please assure me of the correct address.
“If I Ran the US Postal Service”
If I ran the US Postal Service, then you would have your item in the amount of time that the service indicates. BUT…since I do not and cannot control the Postal Service, I am NOT to be held accountable about how slow your item took to receive it (see 24/6 Policy). I am on the East Coast, and many of my buyers are on the West Coast or in the West. My experience is that it takes longer to receive your item than the postal service indicates. This is especially true for First Class Mail and Parcel Post.
“Nothing in Life is Free….except Shipping Sometimes”
If your item is a Free Shipping item, it will depend on weight and/or location which postal service I will use. I offer Free Shipping, but choose the most cost effective way to ship it. If your item is 13 oz or less, it will go First Class no matter where you live. If you are close or even semi-close (IL) and your item is over 13 oz, then your item will almost always go Priority unless it is a very, very large or heavy item, then it will go Parcel. If you are in the West or West Coast or Deep South, your item will most likely go Parcel. HOWEVER, I will gladly upgrade your shipping to Priority (for those who would normally go parcel) for the difference between Parcel and Priority. Just contact me ASAP and I will send invoice for the difference.
“I Do Love My Int’l Buyers”
I have had wonderful experiences thus far shipping internationally. PLEASE ASK FOR A QUOTE ON SHIPPING BEFORE BIDDING/BUYING. A $3 handling fee will be added onto your quote, but will be waived and your shipping price reduced if the item is FREE SHIPPING. Express is the Safest, Fastest way to go, but very expensive. Priority is next best. First Class is the cheapest and no guarantee on delivery time. I will send you your CUSTOMS NUMBER, upon shipping your item. After it leaves my hands, I am no longer responsible for First Class items. (By the Way, nothing has ever been ‘lost’ yet.)
“Honesty is the Best Policy”
All items are described to the best of my ability. I’m a perfectionist at heart so at times I can pick out a flaw that someone else may not see or care about. I will disclose anything that I find. If I miss something, it is not done intentionally. Contact me, and I will make it right. I re-inspect everything when it sells and before it goes out the door. If I should find something that I had not seen before, I will contact you and send pictures before I ship it out. At that point you can receive a full refund OR a discount if you choose.
“No Reason for Returns”
I have a no return policy. No one has ever asked to return an item. I will only accept returns if I have grossly misrepresented an item.
“5-STARS PLEASE”
I value your feedback. If you CANNOT for any reason leave me a 5-star feedback, please contact me first. Anything less than 5-stars, in any of the categories, hinders my “Seller Status” with ebay. I’d rather you email/message me to complain than to leave feedback with less than 5 stars.
