The dust jacket lists Nancy Drew to Moss-Covered Mansion, Dana Girls to Gatehouse, and Melody Lane to Kashmir Shawl. The post-text ads list Nancy Drew to Brass Bound Trunk and Judy Bolton to Midnight Visitor. The book is thick blue with orange silhouette endpapers, good quality paper, a glossy frontispiece illustration, and no additional illustrations.

This printing is the first printing with the blue silhouette spine symbol. There were only three thick printings with the spine symbol, and only the first two of the three printings list to #18 on the dust jacket. The books with jackets listing to #18 are slightly thicker than the ones with jackets listing to #19. Therefore, this printing is one of the two most desirable printings with the blue silhouette spine symbol.

The dust jacket has chipping to the edges. The book has light wear. The spine is slanted and slightly faded. The outside of the text block has evidence of a small amount of nibbling by hungry insects. There is no writing inside the book.
