DESCRIPTION: All of the Shona sculptures are one of a kind pieces because each one is hand carved.

• The artist lets the stone tell him/her what should be carved and how the carving should flow.
• The artists also believe that their sculptures already have an owner it belongs to and the sculpture will find its way to its owner.
• It is my understanding that many years ago these sculptures could be found in abundance and easily acquired. However, now the government has limited the amount of sculptures and pricing of this art leaving the country.
• This sculpture is museum quality and will be a magnificient addition to your art collection.
• Long Neck Birds sculpture from Zimbabwe, South Africa.
• Carved from Springstone or Serpentine Stone in the tradtional Shona Sculpture Art. Very detailed.
• Gorgeous black and gray stone would look wonderful sitting in your garden, or, inside your home.
• I have several rooms in my home that are decorated in an Asian Safari theme and these sculptures are a perfect fit into my decor.

MEASUREMENTS: About 48" H. 340 pounds before crating.

We prefer local pick-up. However, we can get a crating and freight shipping quote if you need us to. I am estimating that it will cost around $750 to crate and ship to a major city in the US lower 48 states.
