• All of the Shona sculptures are one of a kind pieces because each one is hand carved.
• The artist lets the stone tell him/her what should be carved and how the carving should flow.
• The artists also believe that their sculptures already have an owner it belongs to and the sculpture will find its way to its owner.
• It is my understanding that many years ago these sculptures could be found in abundance and easily acquired. However, now the government has limited the amount of sculptures and pricing of this art leaving the country.

• Flower sculpture from Zimbabwe, South Africa. The flower leaves and stem are carved from Green Stone and the Flower is carved from the purplish blue Cobalt stone in the tradtional Shona Sculpture Art.
• Very detailed.

NOTE: This sculpture has a chip on the top of each leaf. If I had some of the wax used when these sculptures are carved to seal, I could repair it very easily. They are not that noticeable.

• Would look wonderful sitting in your garden or displayed inside your home.
• I have several rooms in my home that are decorated in an Asian Safari theme and these sculptures are a perfect fit into my decor.

MEASUREMENTS: 22" H X 14" W X 8" D. 80 pounds before crating.

CARE: I wipe the sculpture with beeswax on a regular basis and the small chips are not noticeable after they have been wiped down for a period of time.
