McCoy USA Pitcher #1272 in Excellent Condition.

Made between 1970's -1980's.

It is stamped on the bottom: 1272 McCoy USA LCC

The LCC to side of USA stands for the Lancaster Colony Corporation which was the LLC mark for the 1974 Circa. A little bit of background to help explain is that David Chase, owner of McCoy Pottery in 1974 sold the company to Lancaster Colony Corporation. The Lancaster Corporation was a mulit-manufacturing Company with 33 Presidents all reporting to one man. One of the presidents was Nelson McCoy, president of what is now known as Nelson McCoy Pottery along with the initials LCC which were added to the logo showing Lancaster Colony Corporation.

This excellent MCcoy pitcher is Brown & Cream colored. About 1 3/4 Inches from the top down is Brown along with half of the handle. The rest is in the soft cream color. It is all brown on the inside of the pitcher.

6 Inches Tall,

4 X 4 1/2 Inches at the Top,

3 1/2 Inches Handle Opening,

4 Inches Across Base

This is a great piece of pottery from the McCoy Line. Goes wonderful with any primitive home decor. I personally have had it sitting on a hutch with some other primitive items I have. It could be used for a water or milk pitcher.

There are No Cracks, No Breaks, No Chips, No Crazing, an all around great piece of pottery!
