End of Day - Spatter Glass Vase

Made by: Rainbow Glass Company 1950's - 1960's

This gorgeous vase was made by the crafter taking the cobalt blue glass which was hand blown and rolling it over the colored glass chips or powdered glass and then continuing the blowing process to finish the piece. Sometimes a clear layer of glass was added to seal the colored layers of spatter which is what you have on this vase. It has the clear glass layer over the white spatter that is within the cobalt blue glass.

Its top is like fluted flower petals that has fully blumed. It has a clear base with a polished off pontil.

Measurements are:

11 1/2 inches tall

4 3/4 inches at top

4 3/4 inches at base

This stunning vase is outstanding and in excellent condition. There is one small area on the base where the glass has some tiny dot scratches.
