This is a primitive wood dough bowl with an irregular round of 11 inches long by 10 inches wide x 2-1/2 inches to 2-3/4 inches tall. Shows kitchen use and appears to have been kept well oiled. There are no splits or harbored cracks. Very solid piece of equipment. Dough bowls primary function was to raise dough, but they also served as chopping bowls and serving ware. |
