From a local estate, a gorgeous vintage Chalkware Collie (c. 1940s) Most of the vintage chalkware pieces were originally offered as carnival or amusement park prizes. This item has good detailing in the facial & coat area. I would rate the overall condition of this piece to be good considering its age and composition. This is NOT a bank, it is solid in construction. There may have been repairs made to this piece at some point, especially on the front feet. The paint appears to have faded with age in some places, but I am not sure if it is all original (the front feet area). You will need to place felt on the bottom of the piece or sit it on a pad to save your fine furniture. Measurements are taken at the widest points.
