The Wisconsin Quarter is the Last of the 50 States Commemorative Quarters released by the U.S. Mint in the year 2004, and the 30th of the entire series. The Wisconsin design depicts an agricultural theme featuring the head of a cow, a round of cheese and an ear of corn. However, was there a Wisconsin Quarter Error during the minting process at the Denver Mint. Some say it was a die flaw, while others say it was a deliberate act by a Denver Mint employee. What ever the case may be, there has been a collecting frenzy in the Statehood Quarters Program that has collectors hunting these varieties for a quick profit.( THE ERROR COIN WORTH MORE THAN $400.00 A COIN). Each two-roll set consists of 80 quarters: one roll of 40 coins with the Philadelphia mint mark and one roll of 40 coins with the Denver mint mark. Each coin roll is wrapped in a specially designed United States Mint paper coin wrap that displays the 50 State Quarters Program logo, a "P" or "D" representing the roll's mint of origin, "WI" designating the State of Wisconsin, and "$10" designating its dollar value. These rolls feature quarters used in regular commercial transactions and are struck on our main production floors at the United States Mint at Philadelphia and Denver.
