Old Taxi Yellow Cab Silver Plate Compact

A very wonderful and rare collectible! A commemorative piece from c.1950's-60's.
Beautiful enamel yellow cab on front.
This silver over solid brass compact measures 1 1/2" in diameter with a height of about 1/2".
Very good to excellent condition.
The plating has darkened over the years. Minor surface scuffs.
The old glue has dried and no longer holds the powder cake.
The mirror is bright. It scanned dark. Sorry.
Hinge excellent. Opens and closes well.
The last scan shows the compact in its original package.
