Ok, so I’m in my mid- twenties, recently became a mother for the first time and after washing my daughters clothes and trying to get stains of baby food off of her bibs, I started thinking that I want a washboard! Maybe Im crazy, but I want to wear the whole dress and hair up and use a washboard in an old washbin in the sunlight! hahah I just think that they are so neat and probably work well! I think I’ve lost it now.. :) |

When I was a kid (not THAT long ago – we’re talking 1975 here) we used to have one in the motor home. We would take these marathon 5 week trips and my parents liked to do things on the cheap. I have vivid memories of doing laundry on a washboard in Yosemite National Park. :-) |

I remember my mom using one when I was little. Not feeling a bit nostalgic for that…no way! lol |
