If you have (or want) a link at TheBonz.com PLEASE READ - Important Info Inside

I have what might sound like a dumb question. Does the new site mean that ONLY bonz.com/whateverthenameis will be shown on that site?

Yes, only subscribers to TheBonz.com services will be listed on TheBonz.com website.
If you check the alpha site tho you will see that there is a Huge banner on the top that will take folks right to the main Bonanzle website. When I get a chance I’ll add some text to that banner with instructions about clicking thru to hit the main site so that traffic will continue to flow thru to Bonanzle from TheBonz.com

Yeah, the caps issue will be corrected, but that’s a low priority at the moment.
My remembering how to do a MySQL database query and build it into a listbox which will then call a dynamically created webpage based upon the selected result is at the top of the list right now.
Its amazing how much you can forget in a few years since building your last big project.
Taking a sanity break at the moment and checking emails etc.

Details about TheBonz.com can be found in my booth here:

TheBonz.com is not directly connected with Bonanzle.com but it does serve to promote Bonanzle and help it’s sellers by providing them with an easy to remember direct link to their booth.
http://TheBonz.com/coins
is a good example of how this service can help folks find your booth easier than searching thru Bonanzle.
The shortened name is also easier to print on a business card and much easier to remember than a long booth name.
When I first discovered that the name TheBonz.com was available I informed Bill and Mark and I suggested they register the name for Bonanzle. Mark replied that they were not interested in the name and gave me his blessings to use it provided it was not used to promote another site.
So while there is no official or legal relationship between TheBonz.com and Bonanzle.com my goal is to assist the Bonanzle community by providing a service that will assist in driving traffic to TheBonz.com ’s subscriber’s booths and Bonanzle as a whole.
The charge to get listed on Bonanzle is a single, one time, never pay anything ever again, setup fee of $10 which includes a web address of TheBonz.com/YourName and an email account of YourName@thebonz.com
Once you sign up you own the name for life, and you can choose any available name or word (issued on a first come first served basis).
If you should need any additional names or email accounts, they are just $5 each.
The next phase of TheBonz.com is under development, which is the TheBonz.com directory which will list all the subscribers booths in an easy to navigate, searchable database. Phase 3 is expected to be fully operational by 12/1/08.
Phase 1 was the original redirect of TheBonz.com to Bonanzle.com. Phase 2 is the redirector service currently being offered, Phase 3 is the directory project, and Phase 4 is anyone’s guess at this point.

I tossed in the second name for free just to make it easier for folks to find her booth.
I’ve also re-updated the ‘real database’ at the alpha site from the new data input into the submit form, I’m still working on the coding for the sorts and searches.
The good news is I’m already seeing data from the alpha and beta sites showing up in google searches, so even tho the site isn’t live yet and is only about half cooked, the data is still being picked up which will give your booths a bit more exposure.
