Ok, I’ll preface this by saying I’m somewhat of a nimby. My photos looked ok on e#ay but over here I’m not sure what to do differently to make it so the looker isn’t looking at the button on the center of a blouse but rather, seeing the whole blouse. It’s especially embarassing to me when my stuff shows up on the front page. I want it to be professional. It’s not, it’s lame. |

I think your cropping looks fine, funky. Just as a personal preference, I like pix taken out in natural light but yours look fine. Did you use the cropping available to you on zle after you uploaded your pix? You could adjust the cropping if you think it’s not to your liking. |

Mine were doing the same thing so I edited each listing and cropped the photo down to size. Just make sure to UNCHECK the box that say replace original. That way, you’ll have the smaller and larger pic available once someone clicks on your item and they can zoom either picture. Holy Cow Batman |

If you are speaking of the way your pics are cut off on your booth page, you have to go in to edit item and click on the first pic. Then click crop. It will take you to a little square and you move the “thingie” all the way to the left and save. All~Things~Beautiful |

I think it is because your pictures are much taller than they are wide. The thumbnail images are more square so it is cropping your photos to fit, which is why we see the middle of the dresses in the thumbnail. |

And you have to get a little more “edge” on them – white space whatever it’s called but you have to have plenty of outside edge to get the thing not to crop heads of and such. I worried about it for a while then decided it wasn;t so bad cause they can see the whole thing when they click into the listing. |

everybody thank you SO much for your help here. I’m going to attack the listings one by one. I know the natural light is best. i don’t care what time of the day it is here…there’s always a breeze. I’m thinking maybe to hang a white sheet over the armoire or some way to make them look a bit more professional. But that you everyone—I was so afraid to use the cropping tool. Now I know I can. You guys ROCK! funkygarb's booth |

You have another option if you want to keep the resolution high- you can pop open Paint real quick and select just a sliver of the edges, then keep tacking that sliver onto the sides on either side till the overall picture is square. That’s how I take the wrinklies and fuzz out of my blanket background shots. Quick n dirty n does the trick. You can do all sorts of ‘derring do’ with paint- good thing we’re honest here! permacrisis |

True. Saw the title and thought this thread pertained to “last seen here” spying, like on Candid Camera. Old enough to know who Alan Funt was. Guilty as charged! permacrisis |
