I was only paying $9.95 a year for my domain name, now they want to charge $34.95??? wtf why such a large increase in cost? Time to check out some other services, anyone know of any beside goDaddy.

1and1.com domain names are very well priced as long as you don’t need customer service. Customer service is terrible there.

Mine charges $12, and lets you manage every aspect of domain control + extra tools & affiliate accounts. I’ve been with them about 8 years w/no problem! No increases in the plan cost that I am aware of.

I use 1and1.com, domains are $6.99/year and the cheapest hosting packages are about $5/month.

I have been wanting to look into this for a while. But wanted to make sure I found my new selling home first. Well that is clear,Bonanzle. Now I will have to go look at the info given here. Something else for this old lady to learn.
