Problem with exporting to Craig's List

Thanks for taking the time to answer me. I am a little surprised that no one else has.

I did contact Mark and I am sorry to say he was no help whatsoever.
I am not sure that I would even be able to solve my problem by copying and pasting to CL. There is something keeping me from getting through to the end of the process consistently.

You may have to allow cookies from Craigslist.

In FireFox:

Try Tools>Options>Privacy>exceptions>in the “Address of website” bar type in www.craigslist.com>Allow>Close

Umm this might seem like a dumb question, but how do we do our listings from here, and put them on CL ?

I list on CL all the time via the function here on Bonanzle. Because I cannot peer over your shoulder to see what you are doing. I’ll tell you what I do. First I signon to CL (remain so through the entire process). Then I open another browser window and logon to bonanzle. From there I go to the CL list function via the sales checklist and click on Post your items to CL. I then select the category I want to sell in, then choose the area nearest me (or where you like to sell), then location. At this point the create posting should pop up and from their you simple choose the booth item(s) you want from the list on the right. I start with clicking on title then at the appropriate box on the left paste it in the posting window. I continue to do this until all three (title, price and description) have been copied to the posting dialog box. Be sure to review your posting and make necessary edits. I tend to use " instead of writing out the word ‘inch’ (or its abbrev ‘in.’) and the program interupts that as ‘quot;’. Anyway, once you are satisfied with your entry click on continue and follow the instructions. Please note CL can flag your posting for deletion because of too many listings or listing that appear similar or some violation of CL rules found in their agreement. They won’t tell you why it was flagged and going to FAQ to figure it out will net you a ‘to bad, get over it’ response. So if you do encounter a flagged for deletion just relist and tweek listings until CL accepts it.

Also check your security settings for allowing cookies.

Your instructions seem to be exactly what I have been doing and am still unable to get but only one export a day. And getting that one a day has taken me all week because as I would go through the process I would get kicked out before getting to the end. Each day I seemed to get one step closer.
I was so pleased when I finally did get the one export to take and so disappointed that I couldn’t do another one. Everytime on my 2nd try for the day and I get to the screen that asks for me to accept or decline and I click “accept” I am taken into the Craig’s site to the screen that shows my total amount of listings.
Are all of you having to go through that accept and decline option? I ask this because when I did the manual listing on CL I did not see that screen as part of the process.

Also I was curious as to how many cities most people usually list to or is there some way to get your listing to go to more than just one location?.

Thanks again songbird for your reply. I thought that the “accept or decline” screen might be part of the problem since I did not get that screen when I manually listed on CL. I also am at a loss as to why I have a problem. I have high-speed internet access through my cable company.

It is good to know that about listing in more than one city on CL. I am very new to CL so I need to read up on their rules, etc.
