How Much Does it Cost to Sell on Bonanzle?

This much.

How Does Automatic Billing Work?

Setting up automatic billing on Bonanzle is a convenient way to have your selling fees automatically paid every month without nagging emails and repetitive logins to Paypal or Google Checkout.

It is as easy as can be to get started: all you have to do is visit the "Bonanzle Fees" page and fill out your credit card information. We'll take care of the rest, automatically billing you once monthly when you incur selling fees from your Bonanzle sales. On months where you have no sales, no charge to your card will be made. You can see our full list of selling fees here.

What Benefits are there to Automatic Billing?

  • Convienent: You don't have to keep remembering to pay every month.
  • Secure: Your credit card is submitted via 256 bit encryption and stored in a highly protected database vault.
  • Less email: You won't be emailed every month about payment.
  • Less worry: As long as your credit card is active, no need to worry that your items may become inactive for failure to pay fees.
  • More sales: Only those with automatic payments setup are eligible to have items featured in the Bonanzle Affiliates Program, slated to be released by the middle of 2009.

Is It Safe to Give My Credit Card Information to Bonanzle?

When your credit card information is submitted to Bonanzle, is travels to us over a high security 256 bit encrypted protocol. After the credit card is verified, all credit card information is stored in a secure offsite card vault that has been specifically architected for the highest security possible. Bonanzle then stores a token by which to refer to your card, so that our credit card processor can match our token to your card data without transferring the card data itself. This procedure is compliaint with credit card PCI regulations that describe how to keep card information maximally secure from fraud.

How do I Cancel Automatic Payments?

It's easy! After you've setup automatic payments, you can go to your billing page and there will be a link to see recurring billing information. Included in your recurring billing information is a link to disable future payments.

If you currently owe fees, we'll give you the option to pay your existing fees either with the card on file, or with an alternate payment method such as Paypal or Google Checkout.

Once you have no pending bills, your card will be canceled immediately upon clicking the "Disable future automatic payments" link.

Note that if you were signed up as a Syndicated Seller, you will become ineligible for the program, and your items will be canceled for syndication after automatic payments are canceled. Your items will remain posted in your booth for non-syndication traffic.

What About Refunds?

If you are billed for a transaction on Bonanzle that can not be completed due to problems with the buyer (e.g., buyer non-payment, buyer return of item), or if factors relating to the Bonanzle system prevent you from being able to complete your transaction, you can email us to have the charges rescinded. If your account on Bonanzle has a balance (or if you expect it will soon), our first preference will be to issue a credit to your selling account in the amount of the erroneous or canceled fees assessed.

If your account has no balance and you don't expect it will soon, we will refund your fees paid by to your credit card, or Paypal / Google Checkout account.

Can I Combine My Subscribing Membership and Selling Fee Payments?

Not yet, but we hope to be able to allow it soon.

When is My Bill Due?

We'll start bugging you about paying your bill when it is in excess of $3.00 and it has been 30 days since your last payment. Bonanzle currently has no pre-set billing periods, so any bill payment transaction period will vary from month to month and will include all transactions between your last payment and the day the new payment is made.

We heart prompt payers.

My Bill is Small, Do I Have to Pay?

Actually, you probably don't. It costs us money to accept fees, so we prefer not to accept payments for less than $2.

Q. How do I update my expiration date on my credit card?
A. Go to your My Bonanzle > Fees page. On that page you will see a link to review your current payment information. Clicking on that link will open a window where you can edit this information. If you do not see that link there then you do not have Automatic Billing currently set.

Q. How do I pay if I do not have either PayPal or Google Checkout accounts? Why isn’t there a straight forward means to use a credit card or checking account?
A. There is. If you go to your “My Bonanzle > Fees” page you will be able to set up Automatic Payments using your Credit Card.
