Bonanzle's Relentless Simplicity
At Bonanzle, we have a lot of goals we take seriously: making it fast to buy and sell, making it fun to browser and interact, listening to the opinions of our users, to name a few. But there is no principle we hold more sacred than the principle of relentless simplicity.
When we design a page, the first question we ask ourselves is always the same: is there anything that we could remove from this page to make you think less when you see it?
Often times, removing complexity can mean removing potentially cool features from the site. Our mantra: so be it. Most of us have enough complexity in our lives without visiting eBay. Bonanzle aims to keep it that way.
If ever you see something on a page that you think is not necessary or could be re-arranged to be made less complicated, we'd love to hear about it.

*Statistics current as of May 22nd, 2008. Stats were gathered by pasting pages for respective sites into Microsoft Word, and
using the "Word Count" feature.
** Specific statistics forthcoming, but difficult to compare apples to apples since process varies by item type, etc.
On Bonanzle, posting an item involves 1 page load, and two required (price and title) + three optional (category,
picture, and description) fields. Nobody has less.
