    We live on the island of Oak Island, NC. We bought our house to be our summer home but, loved it so much here, we decided to make it our permanent home.

    We spend our summertime on the beach watching over sea turtle nests to try to improve their chances of survival. Some species of sea turtle are threatened, while other species are endangered of extinction. If you should ever get the chance to see a sea turtle nest hatching, you should. It's a thrill you will never forget.
