  After nearly 25 years of living and working overseas for the US Government, we setteled down in our very old (1796) house in Rumney, NH. I opened a small shop in our CarriageHouse garage where I sold some of the beautiful and unusual items I found in Egypt, Bali, Pakistan, Thailand, Sri Lanka and elswhere. Most of the items in my shop are handmade.

  In 2007, while my husband was in Afghanistan for the year, I started writing and illustrating children's books and managed to establish my own book company. All our books (we have 5 published so far with more coming) are written and illustrated by me or members of my family.   Anyway, as I started to devote more and more time to the books, I spent less and less time in the carriage house and this year decided to close it altogether. I still have nearly a quarter of my original inventory left so here I am on Bonanzle. This is my first foray into on-line selling so I don't have a long rating history to show I am a trustworthy person. If you give me a chance, however, I promise not to let you down.

  Eventually my booth will have alabaster stoneware, wood chests, small inlaid boxes, handblown glass vases and ornaments, lead crystal figurines, genuine lapis lazuli pendants and stones, petrified wood pieces(amazingly from Egypt) handmade applique wall hangings and pillow covers, silk items and other textiles.
