As you can guess, my name is Sandi. I owned a secondhand store for ten years (named Sincerely, Sandi) in Trinidad, Colorado. I just can't get it out of my blood. I am really excited about opening my booth so I can still satisfy my treasure hunting compulsions. You will find all kinds of "fun stuff" in my store and maybe even some "new stuff." The things I look for are often things that bring a smile to your face, especially in the figurines category. There is no particular thing that I will be listing because when I find a treasure, it could be anything. If you're ever looking for anything, let me know. I may have it lying around. I still have a lot of merchandise from my store and I will be listing it as quickly as I can. As for the rare books, my friend inherited over 14,000 books. I have some more to list but am not ready yet.
I just got my Master's degree in Psychology (at age 68) and am quite proud of myself. I hope to be teaching online so I can still keep up with my booth in the future. Nothing is quite the same as collecting and selling!! I like this site and find it to be very friendly and easy to use. I'm hoping to be successful, and I wish all of you great success also. ***** By the way, I'm almost always willing to make deals and will definitely combine shipping and send it however you want it. One thing I want to say about shipping is I am horrified at the prices carriers are charging. I will send it any way you want it, but I found a site at http://www.shippingsidekick.com/getrates.wml that tells me the best and cheapest way to send it. It does not have to be priority mail. It compares USPS, UPS and FedEx. I also try to be very specific in my details of my items so that the customer will know exactly what they are getting. Happy customers return!!
If you ever see anything that I have listed incorrectly, I would appreciate it if you would contact me and set me straight. I don't know everything about everything so your comments will be appreciated. I do the best I can researching, but sometimes I can't find the exact thing and I have to call it as I see it, which could be incorrect. Thanks.
