CoyoteCackle showcases Creative Playboards, a hand crafted item for children and the young at heart. I got the idea from thinking back to my childhood. My brother and I used to paint an old boards, different section for water, dirt, grass and more. We played with small farm animal toys, cars and people figures.
I have a background in fine arts and design, but somehow my career endeavors never utilized the skills in which I am most happy with. In the struggling economic that we all find ourselves in now, I decided to take a chance and be a bit adventurous. I have made several Playboards for my son (who has some special challenges in his life). I hope to offer some custom creations in the future - meaning a customer can tell me what type of design he would like, and I will create it to those specification.
Right now the Playboards are made from high grade Birch Plywood, but I am experimenting with other types of material like Pine and Poplar.
I hope you will find these boards to be durable, attractive, play-worthy and open-ended. Creativity, play without boundaries and imagination are the goal here!
