History of the Atomicdiner
Like many others here got fed up with FEEbay changes. When I started, all the common names I wanted to originally use were already taken so I tried to think of something unique and went way back into my childhood to a time when my family operated its first business. It was called the Atomic Diner and was a hot dog truck which we operated outside of White Sox park between around 1954 thru 1959 before the city sorta pushed us out. We provided quality products at prices way lower than the concession stands and I since this name was not taken on FEEBay, that is what I decided to use in MY first new business venture. Too bad I never saved the baseballs that ALL the Sox players signed and gave to me when even they came out to eat a hotdog or burger and be among all their fans (I probably could have sold those to some collector!!!) but alas, I and my friends actually played with those autographed balls. Who would have imagined that this childhood stuff would be worth anything now! I disposed of a small fortune.
Now that I am not working at a job fulltime anymore, I have nothing but time and am looking foreward to consuming some of my free time dabbling in this online selling thing. I hope to offer my customers who buy my items, the same value and service the Atomic Diner provided for all the ballpark fans back in the 50's. So as you look over my items, think of me as going to a garage sale where someone is selling off some old things that perhaps have not seen the light of day in quite a while.
