  I can remember from a small child when my mother would dress up on Friday nights to go dancing. A skinny
  silk black sleeveless dress, just slightly above the knee with gorgeous high heels (matching purse of course)
  and then topped off with the perfect set of jewelry.

  I loved watching her go through her routine with swift but determined precision.

  When she passed three years ago, I was blessed with her jewelry. As I spend time going through each piece, I
  am over-whelmed with fond memories.

  The majority of what you find on TheLaughingSeagull.com is from her estate and also my grandmothers. My grandmother lived to 102 and there was never a piece of jewelry that was safe! She had to have it!

  Being old souls, my partner and I love the past. Not only for what it represented but also the timeless
  quality of vintage jewelry, accessories, clothing and collectibles.

  So we are hooked on Vintage! We've got the bug so keep visiting us often as we search and find quality items to add to our growing inventory.
