Upon retirement from the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations in 1981 I entered into a management position with a large cable TV Corp. serving Up State New York, and parts of Pennsylvania.( now part of Time Warner) While traveling in this position I passed many Yard Sales, Barn Sales, and Estate Sales, and thus started collecting small antiques. Eventually I stumbled into vintage post cards and was hooked. Over the next 5 years I accumulated a substantial inventory of cards and eventually started selling vintage post cards from an excellent antique mall the Country Sampler, Route 6, Sylvania, Bradford County, Pa. I also conducted a Post Card auction several times a year in Barr's Post Card New's publication. Eventually I accumulated an inventory of approximately 30,000 cards and have been buying, selling, and trading ever since. Along the way I picked up small antiques and collectibles and continued my hobby by selling at ebay since 1998. Every item I offer for sale in my booth is vintage of the era I describe. I do not sell reproductions of any sort. My Diecast models are an exception as they are contemporary collectibles that I started selling as a service to my Antique Car Show customers.
I hope you enjoy my booth and find something you just cannot live without, and I thank you for the visit, and I will tell you that this is a Hobby for me and I am in it for the pure JOY !! -
