About me:
I am originally from the east coast and moved here to the Midwest 4 years ago. The challenge of starting over again sounded great and challenging, but the thought of looking for new ideas in a different place was also going to be a great challenge as well but like always I am up to a great challenge.
All my life I have enjoyed working with my hands and making things for people. I have worked with such mediums as, Acrylics, oils, ceramic, Fabric, wire jewelry making, but although I love all these mediums none has given me more pleasure then to work with polymer clay.
Polymer clay is a great medium to work with because it is so versatile. I have been working with polymer clay for 12 years now and each day there is always something new to learn. Mostly I work making polymer clay beads and OOAK art clay sculptures which is rewarding because you can push yourself each time to see what you can come up with next.
I also do special requests from people for beads and clay art dolls. Every bead and art clay doll that I do is of my own design so no two will ever look alike. I also am a Wire jewelry artist www.mysartaviacreations.com I have been doing wire work for about 8 years now and it a great stress reliever just like polymer clay.
