Mike Leuszler is a professional freelance caricaturist and illustrator. He does both event and party caricature, along with commission works. He also teaches art classes. Mike has a gallery inside Roxy's Reads and Remnants in downtown Amherst, OH. In addition, he also has art available at several other galleries in the NE Ohio area and participates in shows when circumstances allow. Mike specializes in pen and ink drawing and cartooning, but also has strong experience with chalk, color pencils, and digital web graphics.
In addition to his artwork, Mike is an experienced Internet Marketer and Website Designer and consultant, having designed over a dozen websites for clients including models, plant nurseries, game stores, and even a local county commissioner. Mike also markets his artwork and services online on several sites including Etsy.com and ebay.com.
Mike has a long, diverse background in several areas, including community theater (acting, directing, tech, and design), business (having several managerial and supervisory positions), small business, customer service, marketing, and sales. Mike has a stong affection for comic books and strip history and culture. He also has a big interest in history and current events, despite taking World History twice in High School.
Mike has experience in local cable television access production having hosted and produced programs for Amherst City Cable. In addition, Mike hosts a weekly podcast on Talkshoe.com called Open Mike, Insert Foot among others.
Mike works primarily out of his home office and at Roxy's Reads, where he does publicity, marketing and has a small art gallery.
