I love books and I love to read.
I've traveled down many a road while reading, met different people and spent lazy summer days looking for romance, (you know...the kind in the novels) with my rose colored glasses. And no... I didn't have a life, thank you very much! But... that's not the point. The point is, reading can be fun! You just have to pinch yourself when you get too engrossed in that romance,reminding yourself that it ain't that way in real life...or is it? Anyway...
Even though I know that it's a necessary evil to toss certain things overboard, I hate to do it. I would rather find a good home for these little jewels, handing them down to future book lovin dreamers of dreams that just can't get their nose outta that mystery! As for me, I've come full circle these many years of book collecting.
I've graduated from the school of Harlequin Romance Novels, that I faithfully read in my teeny bopping years, traveling backwards in time to those sweet Children's Classics that I read when I was little. I love those as good now as I did way back then...in the olden daze.
I still remember buying a Hans Christian Anderson's fairy tales from Elementary School. I had that book on up till a few years ago. It was still in good shape! Which reminds me...
about that "Gone With the Wind" book I read over and over... if I only had that one now! Somewhere down the line that little gem slipped right through my fingers...git yerself a book...
