  Volunteers of America of Western New York is a non-profit organization located in Rochester, NY. Our mission is to help people in need through services that include:

  Emergency housing for individuals and families
  Emergency food
  Childcare for at-risk children
  Lifeskills training and educational assistance
  Job search assistance and interview training
  Drug and alcohol recovery
  Retail store operations
  Recycling programs

  Our goal is to provide individuals with the tools they need to be self-sufficient and successful in an environment that is supportive and recognizes each person's dignity. By helping individuals overcome the root causes of poverty in their lives we are helping build stronger families and communities. Volunteers of America helps more than 10,000 people throughout Western and Central New York each year.
