Hi! My name is Wes Allardice, happily married with 2 adult children.
I am a native of and still live in Fall River, Massachusetts. I am a member of the Class of 1973, Wabash College, Crawfordsville, Indiana.
I'm a retired (2006)Firefighter/Inspector after 33 years of service on the City of Fall River (MA.) Fire Dept.
I am also a former Regional Vice President of Primerica Financial Services, specializing in Term Life Insurance. I was active in Boy Scouting for much of my life, I'm an Eagle Scout and past Assistant District Commissioner. I was a Nationally Registered Emergency Med. Tech. for over 25 years and am a past Local Chapter and Mass. State President of the Mass Association of E.M.T.s as well as a member of the National EMT Assoc. Board of Directors.
I have been coaching baseball for the last 20 years in my "spare time" on a volunteer basis.I am currently the manager/coach for a team in a very competitive Over 21 Men's League, that has many college players and even a couple of ex-MLB players. I have been fortunate to have been the manager for two -17,18 y.o.. teams who were State and New England Champions and went to the Eastern Regionals of Big League Baseball (the oldest division of Little League) in Dover, Delaware.
I have been a coin collector since the age of 10,and have amassed a lot of knowledge of coins through experience and reading. I am currently serving as Vice President of my local coin club, and sell at several shows a year. I also do a large amount of overseas business(only with certain countries-not all!) and private sales,off site.
Providing a quality product with quality delivery are my chief concern. I have many items in stock that are not listed online, so if you don't see what you want in the booth,just ask. I always combine shipping costs when possible,and I think I always lose money shipping. Don't forget-there are handling costs to pay for! Bubble wrap, boxes, packing peanuts, paper,ink,labels,tape,my time(do you work at YOUR job for free?) are just some of the handling costs incurred.
