The cost to become a SoyLicious Consultant is $29.95 plus shipping per month. This includes the monthly fragrance auto ship of one 20 oz and one 11 oz cascade candle, a 4 oz room spray, and a tart chunk pack. Also included is your company website.
Membership entitles you to a 40% discount on all products, plus all products can be purchased in minimum quantities of 1 and you will earn commissions according to the compensation plan.Comp Plan Levels:
The Soylicious.Com compensation plan is a simple uni-level design that pays up to 6 levels deep with the ability to earn bonuses beyond level 6 to infinity.
The commission levels are as follows:
Level 1 pays 5% of commissionable volume (CV)
Level 2 pays 2.5% of CV
Level 3 pays 2.5% of CV
Level 4 pays 2.5% of CV
Level 5 pays 5% of CV
Level 6 pays 2.5% of CVDirectors and above can earn an additional 1% bonus on each qualified Director leg.
Senior Directors and above can earn an additional 1% bonus on each qualified Senior Director leg.
Regional Directors and above can earn an additional 1% infinity bonus on each qualified Regional Director leg.
National Directors can earn an additional 1% generation bonus on Levels 1 thru 6 and beyond to infinity; Levels 7, 8, 9, 10........etc.How commissions are figured:
Commissionable Volume (CV) is the dollar amount that commissions are paid from. In most cases the CV is equal to the wholesale cost of an item.
One exception is the Monthly Auto-Ship program, where the CV is doubled. The wholesale cost is $30, but the CV is $60. While most candle companies lower their CV on most products in order to keep more profits, SoyLicious.com doubles it on the Monthly Auto-Ship in order to benefit the consultants.
Websters' Dictionary defines a candle as:
"a usually molded or dipped mass of wax or tallow containing a wick that may be burned (as to give light, heat, or scent or for celebration or votive purposes)."
Scentsy is not a candle company; they are in the air freshener, wax tart, and melter/warmer business.
That said, we can only compare our compensation structures and our like products.
From the Scentsy website: "You are required to purchase a Scentsy Starter Kit which includes everything you will need to get started; warmer, testers, order forms, catalogs, etc. The cost for the kit is $99 plus $10 shipping. To remain an active Consultant, you will need to generate $150 in retail sales in one month within a 3 month period."
This sales requirement makes the Scentsy opportunity more costlly than Mia Bella or SoyLicious.com
The basic discount for a new Scentsy consultant is 20%. Once they achieve $1000 in retail sales volume they can receive a 25% discount.
All SoyLicious.com consultants receive a 40% discount.
Now, lets compare products:
Scentsy warmers retail for $30. The cost to new consultants is $24.
Our warmers retail for $30. The cost to consultants is $18.
Scentsy 2.7 oz room sprays retail for $8.00. New consultants pay $6.40
Our 4 oz room sprays retail for $7.95. Consultants pay $4.80
Scentsy Bars (tarts) retail for $5.00 and cost the new consultant $4.00
Our Tart Chunks retail for $3.95 and cost the consultant $2.40
Scentsy does pay downline or group bonuses from 2% - 9% as long as the consultant maintains $500 a month in personal retail volume, and $1000 or more in group retail volume.
SoyLicious.com has no sales quotas.
