  It all started out with my quest for something better, you know the saying, the grass is always greener on the other side?

  Well that's how I was feeling more and more with my makeup . It's not even like I used no name brand makeup either. I used to buy most of my makeup at the department stores, yet I felt that it just wasn't doing my skin any favours. Not only that, but it was always sooo darn hard to find my foundations shade, and no matter what I bought it was always just a tad off. Another thing is that I never understood the ingredients, So maybe once Or twice I lookd at the ingredient list, really... it was always so daunting.

  My thought was that since I don't know what all those huge words are, I would just trust that they are good for my face. Why would there be anything harmful in my makeup when first off , I paid a pretty penny for it, and second of all, it goes on my FACE!! I don't know why many of us do this, I, just as I think you do too, fall into this pattern of thinking.

  Realistically though, they could put anything into my makeup and I wouldn't have known the difference. Pretty sad, now that I create my own. I love the fact that I know exactly what goes into all my littel jars of mineral makeup. Another added bonus is that my mineral makeup won't break our banks. Yay for that!! Also since I don't spend all this money on fancy labelling, packaging, advertising and don't have a factory I keep my prices very reasonable.

  Now looking at it from my lush patch of green grass, the grass is wayyy more green on this side. :)
